The Special Olympics Summer Games will be taking place in June of 2011. It is a wonderful opportunity for children, (and adults), with intellectual or physical disabilities to participate, compete, and have fun in an environment filled with people who understand and support them. Your child could be an athlete. In order to be an athlete in Special Olympics, a person must be at least eight years old. You don’t need to have in-depth knowledge about China to know how much actor Jackie Chan means to the country. Chan and basketball superstar Yao Ming are China’s golden boys and its most popular exports (along with Mu Shu Pork). According to travel experts, despite fares increasing nearly 20 percent over last year, flights to England are being snatched up by travelers attending the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, which run July 27 to August 12.
