Autism Bill Passes California Senate

The California Senate has approved a bill that will require all health insurance companies to cover treatment for children who have an autism spectrum disorder, or other developmental disorders. The next step is to have the bill signed by Governor Jerry Brown. This will help many families be able to afford the treatment that their children need. Earlier this year, a similar bill passed the California House of Representatives. This week, the bill has been passed by the California Senate.
