Every year, World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated on March 21. I have somehow lost track of the days this week, and wasn’t able to write about it on the day it happened. However, it is still very important to know about. Here are some facts about World Down Syndrome Day. March 21, 2012, was the seventh annual World Down Syndrome Day. March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day

This year is the 6th anniversary of World Down Syndrome Day. The purpose of this day is to promote awareness and understanding of Down Syndrome. It is a day to showcase the talents, abilities, and accomplishments of people who have Down Syndrome. It is a day of celebration! I have only just learned about World Down Syndrome Day. It takes place on the 21st of March every year. The United States would list this date as 3/21, but most other countries will list it as 21/3.
